La Manga Lies in the Southern Costa Blanca on the Mediterranean coast. It is approximately 30 Kilometers from Murcia airport and 70 kilometers from Alicante , both airports afford quick and simple means of reaching the club.

 

On one side of La Manga Club you will find the Mediterranean Sea with its magnificent sandy beaches and on the other side you can find La Manga del Mar Menor lagoon.

 

The Mar Menor or ‘little sea’ is a rare salt water lagoon. A trip to the near by beaches of the Mar Menor Lagoon offers 135 sq kilometers of safe shallow waters. The constantly calm warm waters of the lagoon guarantee a good day at the beach will be had by all. Open only to the sea through narrow inlets the lagoon manages to maintain higher salinity levels and a constant temperature around 5 degrees centigrade warmer than the open sea. The lagoon offers a plethora of water sports from wind surfing, jet skis, sailing and kite surfing, to swimming and scuba diving all of which can be booked through La Manga Club.

 

La Manga also benefits from being sited next to the Calblanque national park. The Calblanque National park known as the ‘virgin coast’ is a natural area of preservation. It offers outstanding beauty combined with activities to keep even the most energetic holiday makers entertained. La Manga Club has always been synonymous with golf, and with its three championship courses and outstanding practice facilities, it is perhaps hardly surprising that it has been voted Europe 's top golf resort twice in the past five years. The resort has also recently been chosen as the official winter training base of the German PGA.

 

Tennis at La Manga, La Manga Tennis Centre is host to such prestigious events as the Davis Cup and Federation Cup matches, and the official winter training base for the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA).
